    1. This role is a backfill for an existing member of staff.
    2. Lots of interesting technical challenges ahead. The “Engine Squad” (internal team name) is at the core of what we do at Rasa. We are building a really solid and high-performing team that can navigate this rapidly evolving technical landscape.
  2. What’s the structure of the current team?

    1. Our company is distributed between North America and Europe. We have four entities: the USA, the UK, Germany, and Serbia.
      1. The majority of our employees sit within our entities, with a few Rasas in Canada, France, and other European countries.
      2. The engineering team is primarily based in Europe to easy communication friction caused by timezone differences.
    2. This role reports to the Engineering Manager and part of a team of Staff, Senior and Mid-level Machine Learning Engineers.
  3. Is this a 100% remote role? Yes, but you must sit within / be a resident of one of our European business entities: the UK, Germany, or Serbia.

    1. Rasa was founded as a remote-first company. We offer your choice between a work-from-home stipend or expensing a local co-working space.
    2. You will be expected to work your local business hours, with very occasional early meetings for California, or afternoon meetings for Europe, where there is overlap with each other’s time zones.
